libcheese-gtk25 software package provides tool to take pictures and videos from your webcam - widgets, you can install in your Ubuntu 17.04 (Zesty Zapus) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libcheese-gtk25
libcheese-gtk25 is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libcheese-gtk25 package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libcheese-gtk25 *
You will get with libcheese-gtk25 package name, version, architecture and description in a table
